Menopause problems

Most women experience some degree of premenopausal syndrome. Most symptoms are similar to the menstrual cycle. They usually occur in the week or two before menstruation. It includes fatigue, abdominal bloating, irritability, breast pain, migraine headaches, etc.

There are two well-known menopause problems:

1.    Common Problems

  • Hot flushes
  • Infections –UTI
  • Sexual problems
  • Mood swings
  • Memory problems – brain fog, short memory
  • Sleeping problems
  • Headache – tension, cluster, migraine, organic
  • Irregular bleeding – lighter/heavier, flow pattern
  • Weight problems – gain/loss


2.    Major Problems

  • Osteoporosis
  • Heart Disease – high risk of heart attack
  • Alzheimer’s
  • Colorectal Cancer
  • Stroke
  • Polycystic Ovaries
  • High Cholesterol
  • IBS
