Salt:
Too much salt in your diet slows calcium absorption and increases calcium loss. So reduce salt intake, as it increases the amount of calcium excreted in the urine.

Caffeine:
Too much caffeine (cola, coffee, tea and chocolate) can slow calcium absorption. Any more than more than two to three cups per day of; cola, tea or coffee may start to have an effect on your osteoporosis risk.

Alcohol:
Alcohol intake of more than two standard drinks per day for men and one for women can slow calcium absorption and increase osteoporosis risk.
